ODD MAN
OUT...
is an exciting
, versatile group with sensational harmonies and a strong combination
of musical styles. This unique foursome performs a full range
of cover and original material. Performing at small and large
venues throughout southeastern Pennsylvania in the last year,
has brought many people out to enjoy a night of music and fun
with these talented performers. As seasoned writers, they have
honed their skills and have written and recorded many originals
to their credit. They have recently released their 4 song original
mini-cd, entitled "Heaven" for purchase. This band is so versatile
that it can easily switch between cover and original without missing
a beat.
In 1991
Odd Man Out was born from the combined efforts of Donna, Craig
Shaffer and Charlie Phillips, aka Rude, to write and record an
11 song rock opera entitled Sins. With the help of many they attained
the interest of several top labels. They then decided to add 5
or six new original songs, a few more players, including J Goldey,
and formed a harder version of Odd Man Out called Martha's Monster.
After the release of several cd's by 1995, and numerous tour dates,
Martha's Monster took a long needed break from an intense schedule.
In 1998,
the three remaining musicians of Martha's Monster (Donna, J. Goldey
and Rude) felt a driving need to rekindle Odd Man Out.
